As our government resources have become overly stressed, combined with climate change, we have witnessed a significant decline in the health of our National Forests. Our charter is to assist with these agencies to fill in any of the gaps where needed. This includes the scientific research, development and deployment of solutions focused solely on forest preservation .
We have found in each community where we are located, there are people working toward the same goals as FPC. For them we offer assistance both in funding and the operational resources. Together our synergies will bring about the best solutions for the communities we serve. Teamwork is always the best approach for making progress toward the conservation of our forested lands and waters on which all of life depends.
The Research, Development and Educational arm of the Forest Preservation Corps, operates at the forefront of science to improve the health and use of our National Forests. Located at our headquarters in Lander Wyoming, we believe the synergy of research, development and education are the three key components to our success. Providing this comprehensive understanding brings about our ability to maximize the benefit from the we work we do in the field.
Investing in our forest health requires us to continuously work with the Forest Service on the best ways to get any solutions in the field. Getting to the field requires the maintenance of public trails and bridges. We do this by packing in the necessary tools and materials best suit to maintain access. Access also enables us to work with the Forest Service on any initiative where we have the capacity to assist. All initiatives are fall under and are specific to each district's jurisdiction.
